Clayfield College’s Strategic Intent (2023-2027) was launched today by Principal, Dr Andrew Cousins.
Announcing the launch at the College’s P&F Welcome Evening, Dr Cousins said that the new document outlines the College’s values, strategic pillars and key projects over the next 5 years.
“The next 5 years will represent a historic transformation of our wonderful College, and I am delighted to outline the key factors in our growth and development.”
As with all the College’s activities, the Intent is underpinned by the College motto of “Let your light shine” and the core values of Care, Integrity, Resilience and Respect. The four Strategic Pillars will guide the College in its growth and development aspirations. These are:
- Learning by design
- Wellbeing through belonging
- Learning from experiences
- Sustainability with responsibility
These pillars have already been activated in the College, especially as it prepared for the commencement of the historic transition to a fully co-educational campus. This transition commenced this year, with the arrival of the first ever co-educational cohort in Year 7, the first year of the Secondary School.
Additionally the Intent presents an architect’s impression of development plans for coming years, including major new structures and the refurbishment of our teaching, sporting, cultural and community spaces.
